How can I help?

Life can sometimes become confusing and overwhelming. Although we want to make changes in our lives, we feel uncertain of how. We may feel unable to cope, lost, anxious and unsure what to do next.

How can I help ?

As a therapist I offer an open, accepting and confidential relationship where you may explore your underlying feelings and experiences and the meanings they have for you. I will support you in listening deeply to yourself through whatever may be troubling you. I will also support you in making sense of what you think, feel, hope for and need to help you make the changes you feel are right for you.

The way I in which I work

I work in a collaborative, relational way to ensure that you get the most from your counselling experience and that the pace and direction feels right for you.

It’s my belief that the therapeutic experience enables us to make the changes in our lives that are right for us.

The Person-centred approach to counselling believes that people have the innate ability to develop towards their full potential. This ability can sometimes become thwarted by life’s challenges, particularly the experiences that affect our own feelings of self-worth, self-confidence and self-belief.
